The above chart is the March ranking for iOS devices as measured by the average Antutu score.

The ranking is based on the statistical rules followed by AnTuTu benchmark for performance evaluation of the best iOS devices. The rules are as followed:

Data Score: Critical factors column is the average score of that iOS devices and not the highest score.

Data Period: March 2019

Data Source: Antutu Benchmark V7

According to our most updated iOS list, the 11-inch iPad Pro 2018 claimed the top position once again with an average Antutu score of 548,449 points, followed by the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2018 with an average Antutu score of 546,579 points.

Both iPads are powered by the A12X Bionic chipset which is built on a 7nm process and has an eight-core CPU, a seven-core GPU, and a state-of-the-art Neural Engine that can perform up to 5 trillion operations per second. Moreover, the A12X Bionic has 10 billion transistors that allows it to outperform its predecessor with significant advantage.

The recently announced iPad mini 2019 powered by the same A12 Bionic chipset as iPhone ranked third with an average Antutu score of 367,279 points.

The next three positions are occupied by the three iPhones which are powered by the A12 Bionic chipset. In particular, iPhone XS ranked fourth with an average Antutu score of 367,279 points, followed closely by iPhone XS Max with an average Antutu score of 355,956 points. iPhone XR ranked sixth with an average Antutu score of 345,894 points.

Coming in seventh and eighth are the two 2017 models of the iPad Pro which are both driven by the A10X Bionic chipset. The 10.5-inch model scored 280300 points while the 12.9-inch model scored 278,356 points.

The last two spots are occupied by the A11 Bionic-powered iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus that gained an average Antutu score of 246,655 and 239,518 points respectively. iPhone 8 doesn’t make the list this month.

In general, there are some changes in the rankings of iOS devices in March due to iPad mini 2019 entering the list, but the overall ranking order doesn’t show much fluctuation and is expected to remain stable in the coming months until the arrival of the next generation of iOS devices.
